Djane: Thanks for using "Light Chat"!
Raza: Please use this chat area for any questions you may have, and we will respond as soon as we can. Thanks!
Member : Hi bought the membership card but never recieved an email from PNDA
Samiha: Hi how do I make or register for an account
Raza: @Member: We have not started sending out emails just yet, but you will receive them when we do
Raza: @Samiha: You should be able to register under 'Members' > Register, if there are problems please let me know
Raza: @Samiha: In fact.. I could register you manually while we get this sorted out, but it wont be useful to you until we have our 'Forums' section, which should be in due time
Guest: Are we still allowed to get memberships this week?
Raza: Yes, come by portable 103, room 112, at the designated office hours (with a 3$ fee) and you may get your membership card as well as get added to our mailing list
Guest: in regards to brain day, will we have to present to the school individually?
Raza: I'm quite sure it's in groups or pairs, but please contact Eva (her email is on the exec's page) for more information
Guest: What does the membership card do for us? How can I get involved in PNDA?
Guest: The membership card allows you entry into all of our events for FREE. Usually these events, such as Mix and Mingles, Fashion Show, etc, will cost you some small fee, but getting a PNDA membership entitles you free admission.
Raza: As for getting involved, you can either get our membership or simply get on our mailing list by emailing us or dropping by our Office. There are many volunteer events and we will be able to send you email notifications. As for internal PNDA events, you could start by attending our upcoming elections where we will be giving our further information, as well as check this website for updates.
Guest: You there?
Raza: The way this area works is that you may ask a question, and whenever a member is around they will answer. Alternatively, you may email us for questions.
Filippo: The quickest way to get a response for someone would be to email someone directly. All of our emails are listed under the "Contact Us" section. The alternative, less immediate response would be to leave a question here.
Guest: hey..i slid my first year rep form under the door..in room 114 in the portable 103
Guest: i wanted to know you guys recieved it..?
Sandra: Hi, we have received all the forms. You should be receiving an email from us. Please let us know if you do not receive one by Monday!
Sandra: oh wait... you said room 114. Our room number is 112. Please send me an email at sandra.safarjalani@utoronto.ca (include all your information and the form please)
Guest: i already handed in my form in room 114..so i dont have it anymore
Guest: You should email us anyway. We'll try to do what we can, and you should still show up on the election day.
Sarah: Hi, where can I sign up for the Professional and Graduate School Fair on Oct 6? A link would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Raza: Hi Sarah, I don't believe you have to sign up... but I may get back to you on this. I've checked the AACC website and there doesnt seem to be such a requirement (school fairs tend not to have these, so it wouldnt be unusual)
Guest: How can I be in your mailing list?
Guest: When designated office hours?
Filippo: The office hours are Tuesday - Friday from 11 am to 4 pm. There should be someone there at all times during that timeframe!
Samiha : Hi is the Professional and Graduate School Fair being held in the gym of Athletics and Recreation
Shruti: Hii, where do we sign up to be a member of PNDA? i asked someone(and exec) earlier but they weren't sure
Sandra: Hi Shruti,
Sandra: If you are interested in becoming a member, you can definitely get our membership card for $3 and we have them in our office (the membership card allows you to attend all of our events for free/get updates and information on different opportunities). If you are not interested in the membership card, you can ask to have your email added to our mailing list; this way you can get updates and reminders about any events (keep in mind that without the membership card, you will have to pay an entrance fee for these events). I hope that answered your question.
Guest: Hi I have a question regarding Brain Day training sessions, on the PNDA site it says it will be posted on the first week of October, but can you tell be when are the traning session for Brain Day
Eva: Hi there, Brain Day itself takes place in March and therefore training will begining in late January. If you had meant Brain Day Outreach (grades 7-12s), then you're absolutely right. Because the application process has been ongoing, we are currently working through the application forms and will be contacting our Outreach volunteers within a week's time. Regardless, you will definitely be trained on your presentation before making it. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email braindayoutreach@gmail.com.
Katrina: Hi there, where does the Volunteer Seminar for CAMH take place?
Filippo: Hey Katrina, as per the posting, it is in MW160, incase you didnt see it :)

Guest: Is the one year requirement for some PNDA positions thoroughly inforced? Can you work around it with experience from other things?
Guest: Hi, How can I apply for PNDA positions?
Guest: Is previous panda experience required for panda exec positions?
Filippo: Hi there! There is no formal application form for the hired positions. Just send in your resume and cover letter to PNDA@ThePNDA.ca. While it is always nice for people to have PNDA experience, it isn't necessary. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Guest: i want to send my resume for a position. its saying to PNDA@ThePNDA.ca. is that an email address?
Guest: so can i use my utor email account and send it that way?
Guest: Yes you may, go for it.
Guest: Hello, is the deadline to apply for the PNDA spot deadline tomorrow by 11:59PM?
